The Dead Man

“I sat down near her, inhaling the aroma of the tea and the more subtle aroma of my friend. Yes, she did have some features more appropriate to angels than corpses.”

This is how the protagonist describes his old girl friend in my novel With Darkness came Death  . He is devoid of emotions, the normal state of  a dead man. But he still appreciates the niceties of the girl sitting in front of him. He is a killer on the loose. She is not aware of that. He himself is not very sure about his killings. For his that is what a careful person does. No second thoughts.

The story is a bit on the dystopic side: and that that is a word I don’t like.

I suggest that you read this book. I am praising myself. But you really should.
